Don’t exercise or be too active when in the process of getting pregnant. This is the first and foremost myth you will hear when you start looking for information to help you get pregnant.
In reality, to stop being active or to stop exercising before or during pregnancy is one of the worst things you can do. This will cause more harm to your body than good. Beginning a pregnancy with inactivity and overweight can cause you problems, especially back and joint problems, as well as the run down feeling you get when you don’t get enough exercise plus an uphill battle to lose weight after the baby is born.
Getting Pregnant Is Harder if Your Partner Wears Jockey Shorts.
This is a very true statement if you lock him in them or can’t get him out of them.
Wearing jockey shorts can make men infertile and prevent you from getting pregnant.
There have been studies that showed that men who wore jockeys had lower sperm counts than men who wore boxer shorts. Many men switched to boxers and gave up their jockey shorts just to do their part in producing a baby, going through the discomfort of having everything hang loose until their partners got pregnant. Then there are some studies that have shown no statistical difference in the men who wore jockey shorts verses those who wore boxers. The general consensus seems to be that it doesn’t much matter what kind of underwear a man wears.
When Getting Pregnant Doing It To Much Will Drop His Sperm Count.
This could not be further from the truth.
When getting pregnant men should not have sex often or their sperm count will drop and make it harder to get pregnant. Not very likely. A mans body will produce enough sperm to get the job done, every time, unless he has a problem with infertility, other than that he will have plenty of sperm no matter how often he has sex.
Remember when getting pregnant women can’t get pregnant while on their period.
This is true. However, let’s look at the exception that causes hundreds of pregnancies each year. During your period you can’t get pregnant because you’re not ovulating, you can have sex during your period without getting pregnant. But keep in mind, the sperm has a life span of five days, and if you have sex on the last day of your period and ovulate a little early while that sperm is still swimming around doing the backstroke, well there you go you’re pregnant. The chances are minute, though, and if you’re trying to get pregnant, sex during your period is definitely not going to be much help at all.
